From a last few days its been all over the internet that Mobilink Pakistan is going to buy Warid.
Its not for the first time that some other telecommunication company has tried to buy and own Warid.
Telenor, Zong,Ufone and PTCL have all tried to make a deal with Warid but they were not successful.
However the rumours about Mobilink buying Warid may not carry too much of truth. And there are no ongoing talks between two telecom companies.
Warid is a GSM, LTE based mobile operator in Pakistan.
Warid is the seventh mobile carrier to enter the Pakistani market.
It commenced commercial operations in May 23, 2005.
